PowerDynamix is offering VVTi rebuilding services on a core exchange basis. This will mimize your downtime when servicing your car. It's simple. Just pay the $50 pulley rebuilding fee(includes parts) plus the $100 core charge. We will immediately mail you a freshly rebuilt pulley. Once you swap in the new part, simply mail your old pulley back to us and we will refund your $100 core charge.
We also offer custom painted pulleys to match your HKS anodized purple cam gear as well as anodized blue and silver colors. We can get any paint color matched as well. Just inquire via email if you want any colors not listed. Custom colors may require additional lead time. Pulleys are sent off to a body shop.
This is for the 2JZ / 1JZ VVT-i Cam Gear. Replacement parts made from Mil-Spec Viton O-ring material. Fixes the common oil leakage issues found on later year model VVTi Supras, Lexus GS300, IS300, SC300, Toyota Aristo, Soarer, Crown, Chaser. If you car has a 1JZ or 2JZ VVTi regardless if it is a turbo GTE or non turbo GE, then you will need this part to repair your pulleys that leak over time. Typically happens at higher mileage (150k+) or when the car is around 8-10 years old. A good time to repalce these will be when you are doing a full maintenance job such as timing belt, water pump, valve cover gaskets, cam seals, etc.
Don't get ripped off at the dealership that will charge you $200 for a new pulley. The old pulley still works perfectly fine, the seal just deteriorates and leaks over time.
