We are offering rebuilding services for your accessory belt tensioner pulley on a core exchange basis.The bearing usually wears out on higher mileage vehicles 150k miles/8-10years. In the beginning stages of failure, it will make excessive noise and possible wobble around violently. If you keep the problem unchecked, it will eventually shred up your accessory belt and leave you stranded on the side of the highway.
Rebuild fee is $40 including the new bearing. We use ABEC3 high precision/extra high load bearings. The old one is pressed out on a hydraulic press, and the new one is installed. Beware of cheaper pulleys that use inferior low load bearings. Those will fall apart within a few months. Our bearings are equivalent to OEM quality and will last just as long.
We offer custom painting on these as well to match your anodized purple, blue, or silver pulleys.
This part can only be purchased at the dealership as an entire assembly at a cost of $175. Usually only the bearing wears out.
